Cristian Ordóñez’s practice operates within the areas of design, photography and art. He constantly creates self initial projects that lead to photographic series, artworks and publications. He collaborates with artists, photographers, architects, institutions, commercial and non-profit organizations on projects ranging from visual identities, publications, photography, printed matter, websites and exhibitions. Cristian is currently a guest art director at contemporary architecture and design magazine AZURE, a seasonal graphic design faculty member at OCAD University, as well a member and collaborator with the special events committee at the Centre for Contemporary Photography, Gallery 44.

Over the past decade he has worked independently and collaborated with studios including Concrete, Bruce Mau Design and Huge providing creative and art direction, design, photography, illustrations and research for cultural, educational, architecture, commerce, civic, publishing, non-profit organizations, outdoor and action sports.

His work has been published in North and South America, Europe and Asia. He has exhibited in group shows in Canada, Chile, Belgium, Netherlands, United Kingdom and Argentina. He has talked, provided mentorship and lectured in universities and creative events.
