— Cristian Ordóñez is a graphic designer with over 10 years of experience, with wide range of brands from different sizes and markets. Formerly based in Santiago, Chile and since 2008 based in Toronto, Canada, continues his design and photography practise for cultural and creative projects. He also works as senior designer at Concrete, and before that for 23 months as art director at Blast Radius.

Prior to living in Canada, Cristian (born in 1976) operated H23 Studio, where he worked on large and mid-size projects with clients from Chile, Denmark, France, Spain, and Sweden engaged in branding, print, interactive, and animation.
Cristian earned his Bachelor Degree (Honors) in Graphic Design at the Design School of DuocUC (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile) in March 2000 and has conducted lectures at several design universities in Santiago, like DuocUC, Universidad de Chile, Universidad Andrés Bello, and Universidad del Desarrollo.
In 2007–08 he was a visiting professor for diploma degrees at the Design School of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile under the theme “Design Experiences� and also participated as a jury member for six years for the Flash in the Can Awards in Toronto. Additionally, Cristian was part of the brand communication team at the interdesign event “Design for the Chilean Wine Industry: Challenges and Opportunities� led by the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (ICSID). His work has been published by Taschen, Merrel Publishers UK, HOW Books & Booth Clibborn, and several online design magazines.
Although born in Santiago de Chile, Cristian has also lived in Christchurch, New Zealand, experience that marked him and where he was able to merge his interests between graphic design and illustration through the music and skateboarding culture there. Cristian currently enjoys and hails from Toronto, Canada.
